Our School

Welcome to our School Website!

St. John XXIII Catholic Elementary School, established in Unionville in 1972, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022. Several generations of Unionville children have received their elementary education at St. John XXIII School. During this period, the population grew and split off a number of times to form our neighbouring schools: St. Justin Martyr, St. Monica, St. Matthew and St. Benedict.

In April 2014, we celebrated the canonization of Blessed John XXIII and hence, Blessed John XXIII became St. John XXIII.

Today, we are home to almost 300 students in both our English and French Immersion classes. Our school is part of a small but vibrant community in the heart of Unionville made up of staff, parents and, of course, a strong partnership with St. Justin Martyr Parish. Together we all serve to improve the educational quality and experience of our students.

It is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you to our school’s website. The information posted here will be helpful in keeping you informed regarding important school information and various upcoming activities and events.

Warmest regards,

Mr. B. Dulcigno
Principal
