PA Day

Dear St John Paul II Families,

This is a reminder that Friday November 23rd, 2018 is designated as a PA Day. Teachers will be engaged in professional activities as well as parent interviews. There are no scheduled lessons for students. Classes will resume on Monday November 26th, 2018.


Mark your Calendars! The Book Fair is coming! The Book Fair will run from November 22-30th with the first night during Parent/Teacher Interview Night. The library will be open from 3:30-8:00pm that evening! Please see attached for additional dates and times. Hope to see you there!

CSC Meeting

Please join us on Wednesday November 14th, 2018 for our next council meeting. The meeting will begin promptly at 7pm in our school staff room. All SJPII family members are welcome to attend.

Author Visit Marty Chan

Please join us on Thursday November 8th in our library as we welcome author Marty Chan. Marty Chan is a Chinese-Canadian author/playwright who works and lives in Edmonton, Alberta. His works include Something Dead And Evil Lurks In The Cemetery And It’s My Dad, The Bone House, Maggie’s Last Dance. All members of the SJPII community are welcome to attend.

Remembrance Day Liturgy

On Friday, November 9th, St John Paul II CES will honour Remembrance Day with a prayer liturgy/assembly in our school gymnasium “A” at 10:45 am. The Magic of Coby
