St. Brother Andre students have fun learning about careers in the trades

St. Brother Andre Catholic High School in Markham welcomed Jamie McMillan on December 14th, who presented to the school’s Grade 10 students about careers in the trades. McMillan is an ironworker, boilermaker and small business owner. She founded an organization that promotes careers in the trades, especially for women.

After her presentation, McMillan visited the school’s technology classes and spoke with students about their work. To complete the day, she held a fun photo booth in the school’s atrium, where students could post their photos to social media.
