YCDSB congratulates Konrad Supe, Jordan Macchio, and Fernando Marte-Henriquez, Grade 12 students at St. Jean de Brebeuf CHS in Woodbridge, for placing third in the Nipissing University Stock Market Competition.
130 schools and 5,175 students across Ontario took part in the competitive game, which is a fun and engaging way for student to gain hands-on experience with the stock market and to further develop their strategic thinking and business decision-making skills. It also serves as a great platform for discussing business issues and fundamentals in the classroom. Konrad, Jordan and Fernando are currently enrolled in their high school’s IDC4U1 – Financial Securities Class.
