Alumni and Faculty reunited at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic High School to celebrate the school’s 25th Anniversary. The Open House featured the return of former school administrators, staff, students, and local dignitaries including the school Trustee Teresa Ciaravella, Director of Education Ab Falconi and former Director of Education Susan LaRosa. York Catholic District School Board Teacher / Artist Joe Moncada presented a commemorative plaque to Principal Brett Crook.
During the evening, the time capsule was opened by pioneer staff and it contained a scroll signed by the the school’s first students. Former students Kyle DaSilva and Cindy DaSilva along with Julian Colucci and Anthony Cubello from the Band Mully Jackson entertained the crowd.
The school is planning to host additional 25th Anniversary events throughout 2018-2019 including a Mass celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Thomas Collins on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
