April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. Everyone is encouraged to wear a light blue top. Light blue is the symbolic colour representing Autism Awareness. Other symbols include the multi-coloured ribbon and puzzle pieces. A weather warning has been issued forecasting freezing rain, which is expected to begin late afternoon and into the evening. Therefore, due to inclement weather YCDSB has made a decision to cancel evening permits at our schools on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
This will not affect regular student transportation this afternoon.
