Christmas Message from Principal and Vice Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Christmas is coming! Our school has been buzzing with excitement as we make preparations for Christmas.

We had a beautiful Advent Mass at Our Lady of Grace Parish on December 5th. We appreciate the efforts of our Liturgical Committee for preparing our students, as well as Mrs. Caruth-Campbell and her Gr. 3 class for their song after the mass and Ms. Coletta, our music teacher who lead our grade 2-6 choir.

This week is Christmas Spirit Week, December 17-21, 2018. Each day students and staff can show their school spirit by wearing Christmas hats, socks, sweaters, wearing red, green & white, and costumes.

On Thursday we will have a school assembly. Students will sing and our ukulele group will play festive music to send our students off into the Christmas Break

We thank you for your continued support of our school and our students. We have so much to be grateful for including:  our new water filling stations newly purchased additional technology for student success, as well as a new interactive monitor for the continued work we have been doing on our Library Learning Commons.  In the New Year we will be receiving cooperative furniture and work spaces for the 21 century upgrades for our Library Learning Commons

As we head into the Christmas break the staff at St. Jerome would like to wish you a blessed holiday season and a joyful, Happy New Year. We look forward to your return in the New Year. We will continue to build relationships, nurture goals, and celebrate our many gifts in the fresh, new year ahead.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Ms. Wright                                                                   Mrs. Taylor-Bennett
