May is the month of our blessed mother, Mary. Many thanks to our partners, the Rosary Apostolate who will be celebrating with us on May 4. It is a beautiful celebration where we will recite the Rosary in devotion to our Holy Mother as a school and as a community of believers.
On May 5, our students from grade 4 to grade 8 will participate in a wonderful production at the school which celebrates Canadian music. As we will be celebrating the 150th year of the birth of our nation, we will be focussing on the music of Canadian artists from all regions of Canada. Our Luke 4:18 Committee is holding a Spring Food Drive for our local food banks which are depleted. We will hope to collect enough food to last through to Thanksgiving.
