God of all life,
We call to mind our family, friends, colleagues, and community members who have died in your friendship.
We pray for those in our world who have died because of disease, violence, war, famine or natural disaster.
May all who have died know your loving embrace.
May the angels greet them with songs of joy.
May the communion of Saints and Martyrs
Greet them with triumphant smiles
And tender welcome.
May we, who are now living our lives in Christ,
Continue to pray for all who have died.
May all our gestures of friendship, love, and service,
Be a testament to the qualities and memories
Of those we have lost,
And Trust we will see again.
