On Saturday June 2nd the Students of St. Cecilia along with their Italian Instructor Signora Sinicropi, attended the City of Vaughan celebratory flag raising ceremony in honour of Italian Heritage Month. Italian Heritage Month, which was proclaimed in 2010, recognizes the contributions the Italian Canadian community has made to Ontario’s growth and prosperity. Students were invited to sing the Canadian and Italian National Anthems.
