All common gathering spaces: libraries, learning commons and cafeterias will be closed to student use. The use of the gymnasium will only be for pre-arranged teacher-supervised class use.
Before arrival to school, parents/guardians of students under 18 and students over 18 are responsible to review and adhere to the checklist (click link) from York Region Public Health.
Teachers are encouraged to make use of outdoor classrooms whenever possible. Classes may be rotated through these classrooms.
Physical distancing will be difficult to maintain on the buses therefore students Grades 4 and up will be required to wear a suitable face covering. Where possible and depending on weather conditions, school buses/vans will operate with windows lowered to increase air ventilation. All current student transportation services provided through the Student Transportation Service of York Region (STSYR) will continue to be provided for the 2020-2021 school year. If your child is eligible for busing, a bus will be provided.
