Raymond Kane is a proud member of the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) community. His granddaughter is currently a Grade 12 student at St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS.
Motivated by his desire to spread joy to students and staff at the school, Kane painted his depiction of St. Maximilian Kolbe’s patron saint and donated it to the school. It now hangs on the wall of the school’s chapel. When asked about his inspiration for the painting, Kane expressed that he is a man of faith and enjoys painting and sketching religious art.
