In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Today is the feast of All  Souls, or All Souls Day. The practice of praying for those who have died is an important Christian tradition.  On the feast of All Souls and throughout the month of November, we remember in a special way our relatives, friends and all the faithful departed who are in God’s great love. Let us take a moment to recall in our hearts anyone who has died, family or friends.  (Pause)
Now let us pray together:
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.  May all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

Throughout this month we pray with the saints and those who have died to help us work for a world where forgiveness and mercy reign. Ocge 7c
