Dear Families of the York Catholic District School Board,
On behalf of the entire York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) community, we wish you a blessed Easter Season.
This is the most sacred time of the Christian calendar, and it is a perfect occasion to reflect on the beautiful miracle described in John 3:16, which is the cornerstone of our faith:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.

Last week, the YCDSB continued our annual tradition of the Boardwide Lenten Mass of Reconciliation and Renewal. In that Mass, we were particularly moved by Bishop John Boissonneau’s encouragement to “trust Jesus in the quiet of your heart … to let Jesus speak to you. And he will, because he’s God.”
Indeed, during the hustle and bustle of daily life, Easter provides us with a precious opportunity to pause, come together as a community, and deepen our connection with God and with one another.
Let us use this Easter as a time to strengthen our bonds with our loved ones, to extend kindness and compassion to those in need, and to renew our commitment to living out the Gospel values in our daily lives.
May the blessings of Easter fill your hearts with joy, peace, and the abiding presence of God.
