Presenting the 2025 YCDSB Christmas Card

As we journey through the beautiful season of Advent, we are pleased to share the results of one of our most cherished annual traditions, the YCDSB Christmas Card Contest.

Each year, students in Grades 6–8 express their faith, creativity and talents by designing artwork that reflects the true meaning of Christmas. The response continues to be extraordinary.

Once again, we received an impressive collection of submissions, each one demonstrating remarkable artistic skills and heartfelt reflections. The ongoing success of this contest speaks to the dedication of our students and staff, and the strong arts and faith culture within our schools.

Our school board Trustees, Director of Education and senior team members worked together to select the artwork that beautifully captured the true meaning of Christmas. This year, the two chosen cards are a powerful reminder that Jesus was born to bring love, hope and peace to our world.

We are proud to announce the two winning artists whose designs will represent the 2025 YCDSB Christmas Card:

Congratulations once again to our winning artists, and sincere thanks to every student who participated. Your gifts continue to enrich our community and make this tradition a highlight of the school year.

Wishing everyone a blessed and hope-filled Advent.
