The York Catholic District School Board sends a heartfelt congratulations to Marikit, one of our students from St. Jerome CES. Marikit was named as the first place winner of ShareLife’s 15th annual poster contest. The amazing winning poster will be displayed at all schools and parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto. In total, 350 students participated in this year’s contest. Marikit showed her firm understanding of how ShareLife gives life to the Gospels within our community by providing for our neighbours in need. Marikit is an extremely talented artist and through her art, she created a wonderful poster. The York Catholic District School board as well as St. Jerome CES and the ShareLife organization are very proud of Marikit and look forward to seeing her posters on display throughout our schools and parishes soon.
York Catholic DSB also congratulates Audrina from Our Lady Help of Christians for being named runner-up, Isabella from Our Lady Help of Christians for winning fourth place and Valentina from St. Cecilia CES, for winning fifth place. Congratulations everyone!
