The 2024-25 school year was an outstanding time for the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB). To help the YCDSB community remember our many achievements, we are happy to release the 2024-25 Director’s Annual Report.
This year’s report highlights some of our many celebrations from last year, including the official blessings of Blessed Chiara Badano Catholic Elementary School and St. Katharine Drexel Catholic High School in Stouffville. We also lived the Gospel by providing incredible support to many local charities. And our EQAO scores continued to be among the highest in the country.
The report also offers a transparent look at the work happening behind the scenes to strengthen the YCDSB. You will learn how the YCDSB is advancing the Multi-Year Financial Recovery Plan. Also, you will learn how our Long-Term Accommodation Plan will guide smart growth, including exciting projects like a new elementary school in Queensville and planning for a new school in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
Most importantly, the Annual Report highlights the everyday excellence you help make possible: faith formation, student achievement, equity and inclusion, and well-being initiatives that support students and staff across the board.
