Prayer is central to daily life at the York Catholic District School Board. We start school days, staff meetings and board meetings with prayer. As people of faith, time spent sending our prayers to God is deeply sacred.
However, we know that finding an appropriate prayer for a given day can sometimes be difficult. In order to help anyone who is looking for a prayer for daily announcements, a social gathering, a meeting, or for personal communication with God, the Religion and Family Life Department will be sharing daily prayers on the York Catholic DSB’s website. These prayers are tailored to our liturgical calendar, as well as what is happening in our schools and our wider community.
