York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) students proudly showcased their incredible work at the Liberissimi Toronto Italian Book Festival on May 4, 2025.
More than 320 elementary schools participated in the contest designed to promote the Italian language and culture among students between the ages of 6 and 13. These talented students produced items ranging from storybooks to comic vignettes, from poetry to multimedia works.
Events such as these remind us that the humanities are more than subjects – they are the heart of our shared identity, connecting generations and strengthening communities.
