St. Luke Catholic Learning Centre

 St. Luke Catholic Learning Centre

Faith. Resilience. Hope.

The St. Luke Catholic Learning Centre, currently located in Maple, is the York Catholic District School Board’s alternative education school.

St. Luke provides students with an educational environment whereby the curriculum is designed to match students learning styles and needs. Students complete compulsory and elective credits in addition to Cooperative Education. Students may also take part in the Dual Credit and School Within A College (SWAC) programs to fulfill graduation requirements.

The classroom teachers and support staff build rapport with students helping them set goals while working towards their pathways. Catholicity at St. Luke is exemplified by the commitment to maintaining an inclusive and equitable learning community. Students are encouraged to develop their academic and life skills while supporting each other along the way. St. Luke has established a tradition of providing students with authentic alternative and experiential learning opportunities.
