On behalf of everyone at the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB), it gives me great pleasure to announce this year’s YCDSB recipients of the Schulich Leader Scholarship.

As a Catholic school board, we take guidance from our Catholic values to help students become creative and critical thinkers in the areas of STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, and Math), who can go on to become socially responsible global citizens and make a difference in our world today and in the future.

YCDSB is committed to educating and inspiring students to reach their full potential in a safe and caring environment. We believe that every child is a gift from God who has the right to be taught in an inclusive environment that respects diversity and the rights of all people. We recognize that equity of opportunity and equity of access to the full range of programs, services, and resources available are critical to the achievement of successful outcomes.

Congratulations, Neill and Brent, on your scholarships. Your hard work, determination, and commitment have been recognized, and we are privileged and honoured to celebrate this recognition with you. We are proud of your achievements and your success. We know you will continue to excel in your studies and will continue to inspire and support others throughout your journey.
