SMK Mustangs Varsity Girls 7s Leader Brings Her Game To The Next Level
Congratulations to YCDSBs own Lara Jorgensen for launching the 2019-2020 school year in style! In addition to being named SMK Female Athlete of the Month for September, this exceptional player, leader, friend, and sports ambassador was chosen this month to join the prestigious Team Canada U18 Women’s Rugby squad.
Set to face a wide range of exciting new challenges, the Grade 11 athlete is sure to make a strong showing. Known for her hard work, positive spirit, and passion for the game, Lara has also been key to the success of her home team, the SMK Mustangs Varsity Girls 7s, working alongside an exceptional roster of team-mates and dedicated coaching staff.
