As the school year comes to a close, the York Catholic District School Board extends heartfelt thanks to our students, staff, families and communities for a year filled with learning, growth and faith.
Whether you’re attending summer school, working a summer job, heading on a well-deserved vacation or simply taking time to rest and recharge, may this season bring you joy, renewal and abundant blessings.
Pope Francis reminded us that “rest is so necessary for the health of our minds and bodies, and often so difficult to achieve… But rest is also essential for our spiritual health, so that we can hear God’s voice and understand what He asks of us.”
He emphasizes that leisure is not only important for our physical well-being, but also for nourishing our spiritual lives through quiet reflection and prayerful listening. May this summer be a grace-filled time to pause, reflect and renew your spirit in the light of Christ.
Stay safe, have fun and continue to live out the values of our faith wherever the summer months take you. We look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed and ready, for another year of Catholic education this September.
God Bless
