International Science Fair Winners: Congratulations to Koral Kulacoglu and Louis Wu, 2nd Prize Winners – EUCYS 2022

We have an exciting follow-up on the outstanding success of Koral Kulacoglu and Louis Wu, grade 12 students from St. Robert CHS. Last June, we shared that Koral and Louis won a gold medal at the York Region Science and Technology Fair (YRSTF).

They then won platinum recognition at the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF), the country’s largest annual youth science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) event.

After their success at CWSF, Koral and Louis were selected by Canada to represent our country at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS).

EUCYS 2022 took place this September in Leiden, Netherlands.
Koral and Louis won a second-place prize award for their project:
