Every year, one of the most difficult decisions at the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) is who will win the YCDSB’s annual Christmas Card Contest.
This year was no exception. Dozens of incredibly talented students in grades 6-8 submitted beautiful handmade pictures that could be featured on the YCDSB’s 2023 Christmas Card. After a very close vote by our Board of Trustees, two winners were chosen:
- Aselin V., grade 7 student at St. Cecilia CES, whose artwork will be featured on the front cover
- Valerie N.L., grade 7 student at St. Charles Garnier, whose artwork will be featured on the inside cover
Congratulations to Aselin and Valerie! And thank you for sharing your talents with the entire York Region community! We are excited to share your work with the world.
To all the students who submitted pictures for the Christmas Card Contest, please know that your artwork brought much joy and Christmas spirit to us at the YCDSB. We are grateful for your work and we encourage you to continue making your beautiful art in the future.
